Instructor: Elizabeth Ewings
Leave the studio and enjoy the summer weather while you paint! Get ready to take your art on the road or trail during your next vacation or hiking trip. We'll explore spatial relationships, composition, and color using real outdoor light in two of Seattle's parks. We'll paint in acrylic, using three primary colors and white to create a unified palette. We'll start by blocking in the composition, and work in layers to create visual space. Bring your own field easel or box and camp chair. Plan to complete two small paintings during the class. Prerequisite: Previous drawing or painting experience helpful
