Kokedama is a Japanese planting style. It is a sand ball covered with moss.  It is a living planter as well as a beautiful display work. 
In this workshop, students will learn how to transform plant in a plastic planter to authentic Japanese planting style as well as how to care for this plant. Pratt will provide plant, sand, moss and a handmade fused glass saucer made by a local glass artist. Kits will be available for pick up(no shipping) on 1/13 12:00 pm – 4:00 pm or 1/17. Each student will also need to provide their own limited set of tools. A detailed supply list will be emailed prior to class. The live session will be recorded and available for 48 hours after the class is completed. 
The deadline for registration of this class is September 4th.
