Explore two alternative methods to lithography. Lithography is traditionally done on stone or zinc plates and incorporates the repelling nature of oil and water. Kitchen litho uses everyday items that you find in your kitchen, and allows one to print immediately. Mokulito uses a wooden plate which can be drawn on and carved into before printing. Mokulito will require time in-between the drawing and processing of your plate before printing. Both techniques can be printed by hand. Prerequisite: None These classes meet weekly, an office hour is offered (students can meet individually with the instructor) and there are demo videos to view during the week. This class has a series of demo videos available to students during each week before the check in live sessions and is hosted by MS Teams.
