In this 3 hr long class you'll get to learn how to make two cutting boards out of a board (great for gift giving, even to yourself!) The main tool operations you'll learn is how to use a drill, jig saw, and orbital sander. There will also be lots of hand sanding and creative freedom. Plus a discussion on food safe finishes. Class time will rotate between 10-15 minutes of live demos and students doing work on their own kitchen counter or workbench. Plan to have a place to put your laptop to film yourself at your work station as your instructor will offer feedback as you work. Students are welcome to ask questions as they come up. The class will be maxed at 7 people to allow for quality feedback during everyone's working time. No Prerequisite. Students must supply their own tools and wood; a fully supply list with instructions will be emailed. This class will be hosted online via Microsoft Teams, the class will be recorded, students will have access to the class for 48 hours after the class ends. Enrollment deadline is 3 days prior to class start.
