Rubber molds, demystified! This two session class will be an introduction to mold making, culminating in making your own silicon mold for food. In the first session, we’ll talk about different types of molds and their various uses. In the second session, we’ll walk students through making and pouring their own molds. We’ll be working with a food safe silicone that can be used to make custom molds for hard candies, chocolates, waxes, popsicles, ice, and butter. Prequisite: None. Supply Fee: $15.

*Students will pick up a supply kit from Pratt prior to the first class. Students will need to provide their own mold making silicon based on a shopping list provided. Please register at least one week prior to the class start date to have time for getting tools and supply kits.
