This class is open to beginners and experienced stone carvers for our free workshop offerings for veterans and their families. Students will learn how to connect directly with the stone by focusing on the use of hand tools to work the material.  Using chisels, files and rifflers, stone is manipulated in the reductive process, revealing the sculpture within. Stone carving techniques will be demonstrated in live demonstrations. Prerequisite: None. Supply Fee: None.
